The so-called 'safe-supply' industry is very lucrative and those benefitting from helping people get and use drugs do not want to lose their jobs and grants and therefore will always say it's great.

As for stats - the police are reluctant to arrest people around these un-'safe consumption' sites.

People living around them know there is higher crime and other problems around these sites.

If you think these sites are great then please volunteer to have them in or beside your home.

The health care system is already strained. People are dying more now than when the safe injection sites started. The harm reduction paradigm is not reducing harm. These people need help - to be taken out of their addiction and treated as a long term health condition. Therapeutic communities are the only way to go, long term because drug addiction is like vampireism - it spreads faster than covid, deaths have surpassed covid and still the harm reduction advocates are silencing anyone who is compassionate and aching for these people to get real, long lasting help…
