This is the most insane comment by someone who has NO IDEA of addiction. "If you could replace [street] drugs with safer pharmaceutical alternatives, people’s needs would be met,” said Perry Kendall, B.C.’s former provincial health officer and a long-time harm reduction advocate. The harm reduction advocates rarely have addiction experience, yet they are making decisions that are causing havoc, causing deaths, creating addicts - I really don't understand other than someone is making a whole lot of money. Perry Kendall does not have a clue - he is brainwashed by those who are making decisions based on non experience and therefore should NOT be dictating how to help addicts reclaim their lives. Ask any recovering addict and they will know the answer.

Curious, what is it about Schilling's case that's "unusual"? Though I don't have hard proof, I believe it is common.
