This may have been a well-intentioned movement at the beginning, but with this kind of evidence, there is no excuse. Anyone who defends this is culpable, including an NDP MP who claims people are not dying of safe supply while neglecting to mention that the very reason they sell their supply is to buy the stronger, more dangerous drugs.

A family member worked in the foster care system for a very short period of time. He was shocked at the number of kids in care actively using diverted drugs. Diverted drugs = more youth addicts as cheap drugs readily available from people who don't care who they sell them to. It has to stop.
