The statistics on the number of overturned overdoses at safe injection sites can be very misleading. Did they "save" 50 different addicts in a year or was it:

5 addicts once.

10 addicts twice.

3 addicts three times.

2 addicts five times.

They do not say. Also, how many of these "saved" addicts are still alive?

Safe ijection sites do not have a monopoly on overturning overdoses.

I know a homeless addict that has overturned 20 overdoses and store owners who have overturned three or four overdoses. Narcon kits have been handed out by the thousands.

Tracking the service users would provide the data to tell whether lives are truly being saved or if they go on to die alone despite the prevalence of Naloxone and free bags of needles. Where is the data?
